Are your classes American Heart Association (AHA) classes?
Yes, we are an AHA Training Center and all of our classes are AHA classes.
Which class should I register for?
Generally speaking, if you are a student or professional in the healthcare field, BLS for the Healthcare Provider course is the program required. If you are not a health professional, and need training for camps, businesses or community groups, the Heartsaver Programs are the appropriate courses.
I cannot find my ecard, what do I do?
Ecards are issued from the email address ecards@heart.org. First check your email inbox and/or spam folder. If you cannot find it, please click on this link to search https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards.
Can I get a copy of my ecard?
We do not keep copies of student cards. Please click on request a duplicate card from the "Course Listings" catalog.
How do I claim CME credits for AHA courses?
Continuing education credits are awarded by each oversight licensing/credentialing body. Please consult your association or credentialing agency for more information.
I work for a daycare, what class do I need to take?
You should check with your daycare to see what they require you to take, however usually the Heartsaver FA/CPR/AED class is taken for this type of work.
I need the AHA FA/CPR/AED class to work as a lifeguard, and they require an in person class. Is this possible?
Yes, there are a few options. The first is we offer a class for 10 or more students at your location. The second option is to take the Blended course which is an online course and in person skills which still counts as in person training.
I am looking to take the AHA class this week and need my card the next day, how long will it take after class for me to receive the card?
It usually takes less than 24 hours after class for you to receive your eCard.
I am scheduled to come into the BLS class soon and wanted to see what materials I need to purchase and if there is any pre-course work to complete prior to class.
We provide you with all the materials you will need during the class and there is no pre-course work for this class.
How long do I have after completing my on-line class to take the skills session?
You have 60 days to complete the skills session.
Do you offer a phlebotomy class?
No, that is a course we do not offer.
I need to get my certification before the next class is offered, what should I do?
You can take our blended class and get your skills session done once you complete the online course.
